The New England Mosaic Society invites all members to submit thier work to our latest exhibition

2027 Juried Exhibition

Mosaics by Members of The New England Mosaic Society

Where: South Shore Arts Center, Cohasset, Massachusetts

When: January 7th, 2027-February 13th, 2027

Reception: Sunday, January 10th, 2027 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm, EST

A large light filled gallery graces the first floor of the South Shore Arts Center

The Jurors will choose a

“Best in Show” winner, and three “Juror’s Choice” winners

(Winners will be announced at the reception on January 10th)

Requirements for submission:

• Accepted works can be 2-D or 3-D, (no works suspended from the ceiling), no larger than 36” wide x 36” high, and weigh less than 50 lbs.

• Mosaics exhibited at previous New England Mosaic Society exhibitions or South Shore Arts Center exhibitions will not be accepted.

• Mosaics must have been created within the last five years.

• Members can submit up to two works. Submission fee will be $25 each.

• You must be a current member of the New England Mosaic Society in order to submit your work.

• If you would like the gallery to sell your work they will take a 40% commission from the sale, giving the artist 60% after the exhibit ends. Please read the Terms and Conditions for more information. If your work is juried into the exhibit, you will need to print out and sign the document and include a copy with your piece when delivering or shipping to the arts center.

Dates to Remember:

• All work must be submitted by November 24, 2026

• Notification of acceptance will be made by email no later than December 4, 2026

• Drop Off dates for accepted work: December 14-18, 2026 and January 4th, 2027 from 10:00am – 4:00pm

• Shipped work should be delivered by December 15th, 2026

•If an artist needs to ship or drop off a work outside regular business hours or the established dates, please contact the South Shore Arts Center at 781-383-2787 and make special arrangements.

•Installation will occur by gallery staff on Januray 5th-6th.

• Pickup Works: Week of February 16 – 20th, 2027 from 10:00am – 4:00pm

(Contact the art center if you need to pickup outside these dates.)

(Note, SSAC is going to be closed December 19th, 2026 – January 3rd, 2027)

(Also note the art center is closed Feb15, 2027 for Presidents Day.)
